Sydney is getting it’s own schnitzel degustation
We'll forgive you if you don't know what a'schnitty' is if you're not an Australian. This delectable dish is simply a chicken schnitzel. A crispy, golden crumbed cut of chicken (usually breast) that is a pub staple. Unlike the traditional Austrian or German veal schnitzel, chicken reigns supreme in Australia. Schnitty is so popular that Sydney is getting its first 8-course schnitzel degustation, which will include not only chicken but also everything from seafood to dessert schnitties!
The auspicious event will be held in Sydney suburb Glebe at the Toxteth Hotel on World Schnitzel Day, September 14. (AKA The Tocky). Tickets are only $50 and include EIGHT different and creative schnitzel varieties.
